Adverb
Adverbs are the words that tell us more about the verbs, adjectives or other adverbs in a sentence.
i.The car move slowly.
Slowly tell us more about a verb moved
ii.The dam is almost empty.
Almost tell us more about the adjective empty.
iii. Martin pick up his puppy very gently.
Very tell us more about the adverb gently.

i.We must never play with electric switches.
ii.The software is updated annually.
iii. Gauri patted the puppy gently.
iv.Go and play outside send my dad.
v.I often see him during my walk.
vi.Kamal’s family has moved to Mumbai recently.

Types of adverbs
I)Adverb of manner
An adverb of manner tells us how an action is done they are usually placed after the main verb or after the object of the verb.
E.g.
i.Dad is walking slowly.
ii.The rain fell heavily outside.
II) adverb of place
An adverb of place tells us where and action takes place they are usually placed after the main verb or after the object of the verb.
Here, there, everywhere, outside, somewhere, near, far backward, forward, sideways are some examples of adverb of place.
i.Crosswalk sideways.
ii.I looked everywhere for the remote.
iii.Is there anybody inside.
iii) adverb of time
An adverb of time tells us when an action takes place. This adverbs are generally placed at the end of sentence.
E.g.
i.It rained yesterday.
ii.He reached the station late.
IV) adverb of frequency
It tells us how often an action takes place at what frequency.
Sometimes, usually, always, never, often etc. are the examples of adverb of frequency.
E.g.
i.My sister is never late for school.
ii.I visit to temple everyday.
V)Adverb of degree
It tells us about the extent and intensity of an action. some examples are nearly, quiet, just, too, fully, almost, enough, hardly, very extremely etc.
E.g.
i.I am very sorry for the delay.
ii.I have nearly finished dinner.
VI) Adverb of interrogative
Adverb of interrogative are the words such as when, where, why, how, they are usually placed at the beginning of question.
E.g.
i.How much chocolates do you have?
ii.Why didn’t you came yesterday at school.
